Day 1   Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, met by the Wild Trails Safaris representative and chauffeured to Arusha. Your stay at Arusha Coffee Lodge is on All Inclusive basis

Day 2  Arusha – Tarangire

After breakfast, enjoy a tour of the Burka Coffee Estate, and then an Alfresco lunch in the garden. After lunch you will be transferred to Arusha Airport to board the Executive Grand Caravan and fly to Kuro Airstrip in the Tarangire National Park departing at 15h00. Upon arrival at 15h25, you will be met by the lodge team and thereafter you will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park.

Meals and overnight at Tarangire Treetops Lodge (All Inclusive – includes all meals, drinks, transfers, game drives and scheduled activities)

 

Day 3   Tarangire

After breakfast, enjoy full day of activities including game drives, a game walk, a visit to an authentic Maasai village, sundowners atop Sunset Hill and a night game drive.

Meals and overnight at Tarangire Treetops Lodge (All Inclusive – includes all meals, drinks, transfers, game drives and scheduled activities)

 

Day 4  Tarangire - Karatu

After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive through Tarangire National Park. Stop at leisure for a picnic lunch on your way to Kuro Airstrip.

15h40 Depart from Kuro Airstrip in your Executive Grand Caravan

16h00 Arrive at Manyara Airstrip. You will be met by the lodge team and you will be driven to an authentic African Market in the township of Karatu, after the visit you will be driven to your lodge in time for a high-tea

Dinner and overnight at The Manor – Ngorongoro (All Inclusive – includes all meals, drinks, laundry service, transfers and scheduled activities)

 

Day 5  Karatu – Ngorongoro – Karatu

After breakfast, drive to the crater floor with the lodge driver guide and lodge vehicle. Enjoy a full day of exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater. A picnic lunch will be served at the crater floor. After lunch you will explore more of the crater before heading back to The Manor

Dinner and overnight at The Manor – Ngorongoro (All Inclusive – includes all meals, drinks, laundry service and scheduled activities)

 

Day 6  Karatu – Serengeti

Today you have the option of visiting the Lake Manyara National Park or staying at the lodge to explore the estate. Choose from a host of activities including horse-back riding, cycling, an estate tour or a spa treatment (1 treatment per person) or, you may opt to just relax. After lunch you will be driven to the Manyara Airstrip for your onward flight to the Serengeti departing at 16h15

16h55 Upon arrival at Lobo Airstrip you will be met by the Serengeti Migration Camp team. The afternoon will be spent with a game drive in the Serengeti National Park in time for sundowners.

Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Migration Camp (All Inclusive – includes all meals, drinks, laundry service, transfers, game drives and scheduled activities)

 

Day 7   Serengeti

Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the vast Serengeti National Park. Bush lunch in the park, after lunch, continue exploring the Serengeti National Park.

Evening return to the Serengeti Migration Camp in time for sundowner.

Day 8   Serengeti - Arusha

After breakfast, explore along the banks of the great Grumeti River on a guided game walk. There after enjoy a leisurely lunch and a game drive en-route to the airstrip for your onward flight to Arusha departing at 17h10.

18h10 Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be met by the Wild Trails Safaris representative and with the lodge vehicle you will be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge.

On arrival, a dayroom to freshen up and relax is available to you before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight (not included in the package)

Arusha Coffee Lodge

Located in Arusha, only minutes away from Arusha Airport, nestled among the seemingly endless acres of emerald green coffee bushes, is the idyllic Arusha Coffee Lodge, a heaven for composure before or after a safari.

 

Designed around the original plantation home, the Arusha Coffee Lodge is comprised of 18 plantation houses, 12 ultra luxurious plantation suites, the main farm house with indoor and outdoor dining areas, a cosy lounge and intimate bar area set around fire place

Other features include an outdoor swimming pool and shopping arcade, wireless internet service and a host of activities.

 

Each of the plantation houses and plantation suites has been lavishly furnished and features split level living areas and private outdoor decks.

Tarangire Treetops

The Manor at Ngorongoro

Located adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area within the 1500 acre, Shangri-La Estate, The Manor at Ngorongoro is a reminiscent of an elegant, up-country farm home in the Cape Dutch style of architecture.

 

The Manor, with its 20 luxurious guest cottage suites is one of the first luxury safari experiences in the region to fuse East African Safari hospitality with old world Afro-European architecture and decor.

 

Incorporating all the flavours and romanticism of Africa, each guest cottage contains two spacious suites featuring private courtyards, decks, traditional bathtubs and rain showers as well as fireplaces. Also featured is a 3 bedroom family cottage which accommodates 4 adults and 2 children, a self contained haven with private deck, lounge, dining and kitchenette areas.

Serengeti Migration Camp

Hidden among the rocky outcrops or kopjes is a camp that exudes a decadence reminiscent of old Africa. Its spacious tents have been carefully placed to provide privacy and blend into nature’s architecture, overlooking the Grumeti River and its resident hippos.

 

Richly furnished throughout, the camp provides a haven of sumptuous indulgence among the raw splendour of the surrounding bush. Each guest tent is a private sanctuary.

 

The split level lounge, cigar bar, restaurant, sundecks and swimming pool are perched among the outcrops and overlook the vast and rugged landscapes that are home to the world’s greatest mammal migration.
